Speakuppharmacy is the brainchild of Elsy Gomez Campos, an award‑winning UK pharmacist and committed advocate for racial inclusion in the pharmacy profession. Speauppharmacy was founded to ensure marginalised voices are heard, and professional inclusivity becomes the norm, not just rhetoric.

Over 25 years of NHS experience, combining front-line practice with leadership in inclusion and well-being initiatives across healthcare.
- A Roche UK UCL MBA Health Scholar, and Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Elsy has a proven track record in leading equity-focused policy, clinical transformation, and inclusion strategies at national and local levels. Her lived experience, academic leadership, and bold vision for a fairer profession are the foundation of SpeakUp Pharmacy’s mission.

Founded the UK Black Pharmacists Association in 2018 and served as President of the Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) BAME Network, promoting visibility and support for Black pharmacists and students and challenging systemic barriers.
Churchill Fellowship 2025

Elsy’s Fellowship involves study visits to Australia and the USA, where she will investigate inclusive policies, support systems, and cultural-change initiatives. Her ambition is to adapt these learnings into practical UK interventions that drive genuine systemic change.
